Nahawandi: Kurdish administrator and historian

Abd al-Baqi Nahawandi was a Kurdish administrator and historian who served first in the Safavid Empire and later in the Mughal Empire. His story of migration closely resembles that of many other Kurdish, and more broadly Iranian migrants who sought opportunities and advancement in the Mughal empire.
